SUMMER SOCIAL TOURS

Meet in Greenbaum Lobby

This summer, beat the heat with social docent-led tours of fashion-related exhibitions and archives. We will meet in Greenbaum Lobby and then move to the galleries together. No RSVP necessary.

Wednesday, June 21 // 5pm - tour of the Astaire Library of Costume with librarian, Jesse Lopez, a special collection that houses many rare books and prints relating to costume and textile- including every printed issue of Vogue. 

Wednesday, July 19 // 5pm - tour of the European and American galleries featuring items from the fashion collection to compliment the paintings of the same era. 

Wednesday, August 16 // 5pm - tour of Fashioning Self: The Photography of Everyday Expression which examines the role of photography in shaping, sharing, and shifting identity- much like clothing does in self expression.
