This year marks the 55th anniversary of Arizona Costume Institute and its invaluable support of the fashion-design collection of Phoenix Art Museum. Founded in 1966, ACI is one of the longest-running support groups of museum fashion collections in the country. Join us to celebrate this momentous occasion and another year of fashion and friendship at a special 2021-2022 season kick-off event!

Attendees will enjoy light refreshments, a no-host bar, and a curator-led tour of Fashion’s Subversives with Helen Jean, the Jacquie Dorrance Curator of Fashion Design. You will also have the opportunity to experience Fearless Fashion: Rudi Gernreich one last time before it closes on September 26.

To continue and expand the legacy of ACI, we encourage all ACI members to bring a special guest who is interested in joining ACI to this celebratory event. We hope to grow ACI by 55 new members this year to mark our milestone anniversary. All are welcome to attend.
