Robert Altman applied his familiar technique of overlapping and interwoven story lines to high fashion in this 1994 satire. Prêt-à-Porter (Ready to Wear) follows the lives of designers, model, journalists and celebrities in the hectic days of Paris Fashion Week. Noted for its many Hollywood and fashion industry cameos, the true highlights are the runway sequences, shot on location, using actual fashion shows.
