Emphatics Public Lecture

Dennita Sewell, the Jacquie Dorrance Curator of Fashion Design, will discuss Emphatics. From its beginnings as a fashion-forward hair salon to its development as an internationally recognized avant-garde boutique, she will describe the creative talents they fostered, and how this important archive formed.

Every Wednesday, Museum general admission is free from 3pm-9pm. Lecture tickets are $5 and include admission into Emphatics: Avant Garde Fashion 1963-2013.
