Join us for a virtual opening reception for the latest Phoenix Art Museum fashion exhibition, Collective Inspiration, which will feature a virtual gallery tour and a unique opportunity to hear from Phoenix Art Museum's curators in a panel discussion exploring fashion as art.  

Drawing from the Museum’s renowned fashion-design collection of more than 8,000 objects, Collective Inspiration showcases approximately 10 ensembles and accessories spanning the 20th century to the present paired with examples from the Museum’s collections of Asian, American, Latin American, European, modern, and contemporary art. Each pairing includes interpretive texts written by various Museum curators to shed light on how traditional elements of art and design, including color, light, line, form, and texture, can be applied to fashion objects as well as more traditionally recognized forms of art.
